  • 25% Minor Grades - This will include any daily assignments, bell work, and class participation to include team cohesiveness/attitude.

Folders:

I require that all students keep a folder in order to organize their work.  All pages will be headed correctly, and numbered.  I feel that organizing, maintaining, and being responsible for a folder is a very important part of being a responsible student. Students are required to bring their SLDC folder to class each day.

Textbooks:

This course will not have textbooks, notes will be taken and powerpoints, etc will be placed in TEAMs.

Electronic Devices Policy:

Cell phones should be on silent and not visible in the classroom unless there is a direct instructional need.

Make-up work:

When a student is absent, it is the responsibility of the student to make-up work which is missed.  Students should look on the calendar on my website to find the assignments and come see me for handouts.  All assignments should be made up within 3 days of the student’s return to class.  Please see me about arranging a time to make up any quizzes and tests.
